"Hello my name is Ryan Todt and I am excited to be your DJ! I didn’t have a very normal path to becoming a DJ. For me it all started with a passion for music and having a good time! I was with my wife at a wedding helping her decorate and when we were done setting up, we left. To me this was a let down. We didn’t get to see anyone enjoy the hard work and decorations we had finished setting up for the Wedding.
"I wanted to be more involved in the fun parts of the wedding and see everyone having the time of their life. Rather than waiting to be invited to a wedding, I reached out to Tommy at Get Down Tonight Entertainment and expressed interest in becoming a DJ! Two weeks later I was assisting Tommy at his Weddings and learning everything I could from him about becoming a great DJ & MC for the next year! This passion now carries me through as a Full Time DJ! He allowed us to chose whatever music we wanted as music is an important aspect to our lives. The songs we chose for our ceremony were a bit unconventional and even though he did not have the songs in his records he made sure to get them for us. He knew how important it was for us to meet in person and he made the effort and time to do that despite already having met with us via Zoom. He was excellent on our wedding day and kept everyone dancing all night long. Our guests had a blast and kept commenting on how great he was. “Working with Get Down Tonight and DJ Ryan was an amazing experience! We initially hired another DJ and actually ended up "firing" him because he was extremely difficult to work with. It could not have been more opposite working with DJ Ryan.
“He held several planning meetings with us to get an understanding of exactly the mood we wanted for each section of our wedding (cocktail, ceremony, reception). He also was very devoted to making sure our wedding was perfect, as he was extremely responsive to communication (we used FB messenger) and flexible with week-of changes. He even sent us a worksheet to fill out, which was so helpful for both parties, as it helped keep all the songs and timings organized! When it came to the day of our wedding, everything DJ-related was so smooth and easy. He was super friendly, dressed professionally (not all DJs do), was on-time, and had a great sound system. We needed two systems, one for outside and one for inside, and he was able to accommodate that without issue. Also, if you're having a dancing reception, getting his light system is a must! They absolutely amplified the vibe of the entire dance party! Overall, I would recommend DJ Ryan to anybody looking for a professional, friendly, fun, and all-inclusive DJ. He is affordable and really the best bang for your buck that you can get.”

“We had an amazing experience with Ryan as the DJ at our wedding. Leading up to the big day, Ryan was very communicative and made sure he all the details needed to make our night perfect. To put it simply, he listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered tenfold. Throughout the night, he made sure to lightly touch base with us to ensure everything was on track. Additionally, we were unsure if we were going to be doing a "first dance" and told him we'd make a 'game time decision'. Well, after deciding in realtime we wanted to do it, he worked with us on the spot to cut the song down (used headphones while music was still playing for guests) and cued us up perfectly! It's important to add that Ryan had an amazing setup - very clean and looked super professional. Plus, his sound system was impressive to say the least. “We had an amazing experience with Ryan as the DJ at our wedding. Leading up to the big day, Ryan was very communicative and made sure he all the details needed to make our night perfect. To put it simply, he listened to exactly what we wanted and delivered tenfold. Throughout the night, he made sure to lightly touch base with us to ensure everything was on track. Additionally, we were unsure if we were going to be doing a "first dance" and told him we'd make a 'game time decision'. Well, after deciding in realtime we wanted to do it, he worked with us on the spot to cut the song down (used headphones while music was still playing for guests) and cued us up perfectly! It's important to add that Ryan had an amazing setup - very clean and looked super professional. Plus, his sound system was impressive to say the least. I highly recommend you check his photos out for yourself as you won't be let down. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He had our guests dancing all night after the dinner and did an amazing job at adjusting the volume accordingly throughout the night (ceremony / cocktail hour / etc.). We highly recommend you use Ryan as we promise you will not be disappointed. We can't wait to use you again in the future for other events, Ryan!!”

“Ryan Todt was our DJ on June 18, and he was absolutely amazing! He read our crowd perfectly. We were worried of having a dull wedding with all our friends married with kids- but with the music everyone was out on the dance floor! I’ve been told a DJ can make or break a wedding, and I’m so glad we decided to go with Ryan because he definitely MADE our wedding fun. I couldn’t be happier with Ryan, and I’d recommend him to anyone.”

“Ryan Todt was the DJ for our wedding on 6/4/22, and he was amazing!!! Before the wedding, he was SO quick to respond to my emails, set super clear expectations, and made sure we felt comfortable at the end of all of our discussions. We had some specific requests on what type of music could be played at our reception, and he perfectly followed our requests while also bringing his own creativity to the playlist. My whole bridal party was so impressed by how he MCd the night and really organized the flow of the reception. He was also super flexible when we decided we wanted to wrap up the night a bit early and added a request (which we originally had said no to). And most importantly, the dance floor had people on it the whole night! We had a blast partying and know our guests did too. Ryan was so organized, prepared, reliable, and fun. We would highly recommend Ryan to anyone who is looking for a DJ.”
