"We just got married in January at Birch Wood Vineyards and DJ Tommy from Get Down Tonight Entertainment was our master of ceremonies. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE - even my elderly grandparents) absolutely RAVED about how much fun our wedding was and how they can’t believe how packed the dance floor stayed all night long! Tommy was extremely timely, communicative and professional both with all our pre-wedding interactions as well as on the day-of, and not just that, he was FUN! You can absolutely tell that this isn’t just a job for him, he LOVES what he does and as a result, you can’t help but feed off his energy! Aside from a few dinner service song requests and obviously all the ceremony music, we pretty much gave him free reign to play what he wanted during our entire reception and I’m so glad we just let him do what we hired him for because he absolutely NAILED it! Our dance floor never emptied all night long and he played a good mix of genres that everyone knew and enjoyed. I was shocked to see certain family members up dancing all night because as far as I knew, they were never really the dancing type – even our parents were beside themselves and that says something! Tommy also brought with him these awesome foam glow sticks that all our guests LOVED using as props and I can only imagine the amazing photos and videos we will get back now thanks to him adding that little touch! I’ve been to about 13 weddings now before throwing my own and when they say a DJ can make or break the day, it's 100% true. DO NOT SKIMP ON YOUR MUSIC VENDOR! We’ve been guests at quite a few weddings where the reception just never really elevated after the ceremony to feel like a party or celebration which therefore made the reception as a whole pretty unmemorable and at times...boring. We did not want to be one of those people! We wanted all of our guests to walk away wishing the party didn't have to end and to always remember our day for the celebration that it was - so, music was hugely important to my husband and I and I am SO happy and grateful that we chose Tommy and GDTE! He was everything we were hoping for in a DJ and I can see why he comes highly recommended from our venue!"

"Tommy Demers was absolutely amazing, the best wedding DJ I have ever encountered. I had a very specific playlist of songs I wanted played, which I know is hard for a DJ, but he did his thing and incorporated mine and the night was incredible. Once the dancing started, it did not stop. I would recommend him over and over again- especially to fellow brides! We are very thankful for him and received many compliments about how our wedding had the best playlist people had ever heard at a wedding."

You were NO maintenance at all and handled everything music/reception/ ceremony related completely by yourself and never once bothered anyone for assistance or questions! Made our day so stress free. We appreciate that so very much. Even before we were all announced at the reception, you made it so organized and so clear for the wedding party! I felt very unorganized myself, but YOU and a few other vendors truly had it all handled for me. Even cutting our cake, you told us how to do it, how to make the best possible pictures and made moments we thought would be somewhat awkward just SO so perfect and fun. My dad who made almost all of our wedding happen, has said to me so many times how truly amazing you were. From the speeches to the intro music and everything in between, we cannot thank you enough. When they weren't on the dance floor most people could be found in the photo booth taking photos with the hundreds of props that were available."

"Get Down Tonight Entertainment was a recommended vendor for our venue. We worked with Tommy as our DJ, and he was absolutely excellent. Throughout the planning process he was professional, quick to respond to emails, and had lots of fun and creative ideas to make our reception memorable. My feet are still sore from dancing, and have heard the same from many of our guests! I don't think there was anyone sitting down - Tommy had the whole party up and dancing all night, and the mix of music was perfect. Prior to the wedding I sent him a list of songs we'd like to hear at dinner (I heard all of them that night), and he was excellent at reading the crowd to play an awesome mix of music throughout the reception.
