Showcases are generally held at local wedding venues. Not only do these give you the opportunity to see a potential wedding spot, but you’ll be able to meet the venue’s preferred vendors, as wells as other local vendors including entertainers, bakeries, florists, photographers, officiants, and transportation companies. Each one will have a booth where you will have the opportunity to speak with them, which will give you a feel as to whether or not they are the right match for you.
It goes beyond just talking, though. You’ll see florist’s centerpieces, taste cake, be able to check out a limo up close, and see some entertainers in action – perhaps even giving you the opportunity to get on the floor for a dance or two. You may even be a raffle winner, going home with a prize donated by one of the vendors.
